Conveniently located between Downtown Kitchener and Uptown Waterloo, our cozy studio (located at 136 Moore Ave. S. in Waterloo) is an affordable no frills studio space for photographers and creators in the Waterloo Region!
Backdrop Options
Enjoy a variety of back drop options, both paper and fabric! Mix and match as needed to create the right set for your shoot. Alternatively, you can take down the backdrop stand and use the natural setting.

Natural Light
The space may not be huge but the windows are. If you're not a studio light person, have no worries! The natural light pours into the room.

Every day from 10am - 6pm
Semi-Private
You will have full private use of the studio room, however, one of us will be in the unit working during your booking. we will let you into the building, see you off, and you will see us if you use the washroom, but other than that, we stay out of your way. The semi-privacy is reflected in the lower than average hourly rate.
Building Access
Once you've parked, send us a text message and we will come down to let you into the building.
Upon booking, we'll send you an email with written and video instructions on how to get to our space.
Parking
There is ample free street parking on Moore Ave. S. as well as in the surrounding neighbourhood. Please be aware of your timing to avoid a ticket!
Accessibility
While we love everyone, no matter what's up with their bod, our studio is on the second floor of the building and does not have elevator access.
Rules
I know, I know, sorry to be a buzzkill.

No naked bums on the furniture/backdrops and absolutely no pornography is permitted. (boudoir/general nudity is okay (but don't forget we're there too!). If you're unsure if your shoot is permitted, please get ahold of us!)

No smoke machines/foggers

No candles/flames of any kind

No smoking or vaping

No pets

No liquids on the back drops (and no letting champagne corks fly)

Do not hang anything from the pipes (have you seen the video of someone hanging a wedding dress from a fire suppressor? yikes.)

Please use provided furniture sliders if moving furniture

Not to be old, but please keep the volume of music and talking at a respectful level. We share a very thin ~old building~ wall with a therapy space.
Arrival
You may park right on Moore Ave. S. directly across from our building. We recommend arriving early enough to secure parking without stressing too much.
One of us will send you a text message 30-60 minutes prior to your booking time. Once you've parked and you're ready to come inside, please text us. and we will come down to let you into the building! In the bay, go up the yellow staircase (circled in the image below) and we will let you in the door straight ahead of you!
Please do not ring the buzzer to the building (we don't want to bother the storage business!)
